On Monday evening, Greenwood attended the UNFP (French Professional Football Players’ Union) awards ceremony in Paris with his family and friends. During the event, he briefly spoke with the media.
“As everyone knows, it’s been a somewhat challenging season,” Greenwood said. “The team’s results haven’t been great in recent months, but I feel my individual performances throughout the season have been quite solid. It’s a great honor to be selected in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year. The other winners are all outstanding players, and this recognition makes me very happy.”
“Ligue 1 is a competitive league, and as you can see, the race for European spots is very tight. I sincerely hope I can stay here,” he added.
