
In a pivotal Game 2 of the CBA playoffs quarterfinals, the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions edged out the Shanxi Loongs 86-81 on May 10, leveling the best-of-three series at 1-1 and forcing a decisive Game 3.
Shanxi led 21-25 after the first quarter, but Guangsha maintained a slim 46-41 advantage at halftime. The third quarter saw the Lions extend their lead to 58-55 before closing out the game with a strong fourth-quarter performance.
Barry Brown Jr. led Guangsha with 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists, though he struggled from the field, connecting on just 3 of 15 shots. Hu Jinqiu was a force inside with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Rayjon Tucker contributed 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
For Shanxi, Hamidou Diallo tallied 16 points and seven rebounds, while Zhang Ning scored 13 points. Ge Zhaobao added 13 points and three rebounds.
The series now heads to a winner-take-all Game 3.
