PSG manager Luis Enrique has indicated that the final two Ligue 1 matches will be used to manage playing time and prepare for the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30. This provides an opportunity for players with limited recent minutes, including Goncalo Ramos and Lee Kang-in, to showcase themselves. The club has paused all transfer and contract negotiations until after the final, but sporting advisor Luis Campos and Enrique have already begun constructing the squad for the upcoming campaign.
Key priorities for PSG include signing a center-back and addressing potential departures and their replacements. Lee Kang-in, currently nursing an ankle injury, is eager to prove himself before deciding his next move. The 25-year-old South Korean, under contract until 2028, was prevented from leaving last summer and still holds appeal, particularly in Spain. While Enrique wanted to keep him this season, interest from Atletico Madrid could change the situation, especially as PSG is tracking Atletico’s Julian Alvarez (26, contract until 2030).
